Past
The company was founded in 1992 under the name HEIM & HITZER. The name “Heim” stands for one of the founders, Berthold Heim, who, in February 1992, along with Ewald Hitzer, began trading in butcher’s supplies such as knives, shoes, and aprons.
The founders, Berthold Heim and Ewald Hitzer, previously worked as subcontractors in the meat industry. The ideas that were eventually translated into steel were not born at a desk but during practical work in the meat products industry. Mr. Ewald Hitzer left the company on December 31, 1996.
The company’s first development, the cutting glove and apron cleaning machine, was introduced in October 1992. At that time, the founders were running the business part-time, but that soon changed. In the first year alone, this type of machine was sold 120 times. This success necessitated a move to their own production and storage facilities.
In addition to the cut protection and apron cleaning machine, the young company developed a clog cleaning device and, as a complement, a boot cleaning device.

Presently.
Today, the company, whose machine sales now far exceed 10,000, manufactures customer-oriented and flexible stainless steel products that meet the highest quality standards in Satteldorf-Gröningen on an area of around 400 square meters.
In cooperation with businesses, complete hygiene barriers and container washing systems are now planned and expertly implemented. Numerous reputable reference customers at home and abroad confirm the company’s philosophy, which is: “We swim against the current!” In plain terms: “Quality over quantity!”
Despite technical perfection, a washing system can fail due to defects, often during peak times. Thanks to the user-friendly maintenance and repairability of the equipment, along with detailed technical information, the user can rectify minor issues on their own. However, what’s crucial is that an in-house customer service is always reachable and ready for action.
The new managing directors, Daniel Sperr and Michael Vogel, are providing key impulses to elevate the company to the next level and ensure continued sustainable success.
